Johan Zwergius

In Dante’s Inferno, there are nine circles of hell. Zwergius’ work, The Fourth Circle, takes its name directly from the place where greedy and ungenerous individuals are sent. Through allegory and metaphor Zwergius’ photographs of Nordic rock quarries elucidate the impact that misusing the Earth’s resources can entail.
